New Fitness Technology to ELIVATE® Your Workout

Wearable technology is one of the fastest growing product categories in the industry. Even search engine behemoth Google’s getting in on the game, striking a partnership with Samsung that will enhance the Android platform across all types of cool wearable technology devices, including those that will track, monitor and provide feedback and coaching related to your health goals.

With so many new fitness devices hitting the market, it may be hard to choose which one to try or buy. Fortunately, from blood pressure monitors to sleep trackers, there’s something for everyone and something for every activity. These fitness gadgets made it to the top of our list; give one of them a try and confirm that each activity you take gets you closer to achieving your fitness goals.

Fitness Wristbands

Skechers GOwalk - This nifty bit of fitness technology works hard during the day to track your steps, distance and calories burned. Throughout the night, the fitness wristband monitors your sleep cycle, determining and displaying sleep quality, sleep duration and waking moments. Using Bluetooth technology, it syncs wirelessly with your iPhones and selected Android devices.

Polar Loop - Designed to be worn 24/7, this stylish, waterproof smart wristband is the first activity tracker to incorporate heart rate monitoring during workouts. In addition, it monitors your daily activity, exercise levels and sleeping patterns. Our favorite feature is that it distinguishes between activities such as gentle walking and running.

Heart Rate Monitors

EKHO E-15 Heart Rate Monitor - Learn how to get better results using this water-resistant, ECG-accurate device. Its large display illustrates your current heart rate as well as date and time. We like its chest belt transmitter. It’s worn under your shirt or sports bra, nearest your heart, while you wear the monitor like a normal wristwatch.

Polar FT1 Fitness Watch - This fitness watch records your average and maximum heart rate, allowing you to exercise safely within your target zone. In addition to displaying your latest activity on its large, easy-to-read screen, the Polar FT1 uses a single button start and coded heart rate transmission to avoid cross-talk. We like to think of this training technology as a coach on your wrist. With these tools for tracking and monitoring your activity, you can use technology to confirm that each step you take is one that brings you closer to your fitness goals.
